Bases were loaded when Justin came up. He watch the first strike go by and the second one as well. The third pitch was a screaming fastball right down the pipe. His swing was timed perfectly and hit that ball 6 inches out of the shortstops reach. It only climbed about another foot or so by the time it smacked in to the Ruby’s Diner sign that was just past the 200′ fence at center field.

She was playing hurt, halfway through the game a wild pitch hit her upper arm and took her out of it for a while. The good of this is that it pissed her off so much that she took it out on the ball. Adding to her teams awesome effort by smashing the ball to deep center bringing 2 RBI’s and a double.

It all came down in the 7th. Score was tied 6-6. The opposing coach had walked our #1 batter to load the bases. Lucky came up with 2 outs and took 2 strikes. The next pitch was on fire and caused a hush to come over us all. Except Lucky, that ball was met with the swing of the season and knocked directly at the shortstop who wanted nothing to do with it. The ball continued past the left fielder coming to rest deep in the outfield. This brought in three runners ending the game with a walk-off.
